The Schizophrenia Society of Alberta (SSA) will be awarding seven $2000 scholarships across Alberta to those living with schizophrenia. Please find the criteria for these scholarships below. Completed Applications and Reference Forms will be reviewed by the SSA Scholarship Committee. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

SSA's 7th Annual Campaign - See Me, Not My Illness

96% of those living with schizophrenia report that they have experienced discrimination due to their illness. Discrimination in finding employment, finding housing and other aspects of daily living! This discrimination is clearly portrayed in an article published in the Globe and Mail by one of our long standing members, Amy Willans. SSA is very proud to highlight Amy and her article in our 2018 Annual Campaign “See Me, Not My Illness” Amy’s article can be found here:
