Unsung Heros
The Unsung Heroes Peer Support Program provides mutual peer support for people with schizophrenia. Each SSA branch organizes regular group support meetings, monthly recreational outings, workshops and other special activities where people with schizophrenia can come together in a safe, supportive environment. Support meetings, outings, workshops and activities are free-of-charge for program participants. The Unsung Heroes Peer Support Program reduces isolation and improves the coping skills of people with schizophrenia.
