The Open Minds Walk & Run is a province-wide annual fundraiser for the Schizophrenia Society of Alberta. Participants can register either themselves or a team for various locations across the province.
Steps:
1. Click on the link below to direct you to the city of your choice
2. Register Online
3. Raise Pledges from family and friends online or by a fill-out form
4. Take out your Running Shoes!
By raising pledges you can earn a trip for 2 to Disneyland, Las Vegas or a Baja Mexico Cruise!
Events take place in August and September. Registration fees vary by location. Please select your city for more information. Thank you for your interest in the Open Minds Walk & Run, and thank you for supporting the Schizophrenia Society of Alberta!
EARLY BIRD RAISER PROGRAM!
Canadian Rocky Mountain Resorts, Sheraton Cavalier Calgary Hotel and Capri Hotel & Convention Centre are proud to present the Open Minds Walk & Run Early Bird Raiser Program!
Any participants who register between April 1, 2010 and June 30, 2010 AND raise at least $500.00 in pledges will be eligible to win one of these three fabulous packages:
- Rocky Mountain Escape Two Night Bed & Breakfast Package for Two Adults, valid at Buffalo Mountain Lodge in Banff, Deer Lodge in Lake Louise or Emerald Lake Lodge in Field, BC. Package includes two nights’ lodge accommodation and breakfast each morning for two adults!
- A Weekend at the Sheraton Cavalier Calgary Hotel (located at 2620-32 Ave. NE Calgary)- includes 2 nights accommodation in a King Suite (Friday & Saturday night) plus a $100.00 dining credit at Carver’s Steakhouse!
- Weekend for 2 at the Capri Hotel & Convention Centre (located at 3310-50 Ave. Red Deer)- includes 1 night accommodation in a Jacuzzi Suite (or best available room), a $50.00 credit for Dinner and a $30.00 credit for Breakfast!
