Special General Meeting

All members are encouraged to attend this Special General
Meeting of the Schizophrenia Society of Alberta. In keeping with the
Bylaws (Section 4.1) of the
Schizophrenia Society of Alberta (SSA), the SSA Provincial Board of
Directors served notice regarding an Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be
held on June 14, 2003 in Calgary at the Kahanoff Center. A quorum for this
meeting must have twenty-five members in good standing, personally present
and entitled to vote.
As twenty-five members were not present at the
commencement of the business of the General Meeting, the President
declared in accordance to the Bylaws
(Section 4.4) that the meeting was an improper meeting and adjourned
the meeting for thirty days and commissioned that notice be sent to the
members of the date and place of the second meeting. The members of this
second meeting shall constitute a proper special meeting of the SSA.
